Sonic Intermissions is a three-movement work exploring the relationship between Armenian musical traditions, piano, and electronics. Across three short pieces, piano sounds are placed in dialogue with electronically transformed textures, creating a space where different sonic languages overlap and interact.
The work reflects on the ways in which cultural memory can be reimagined through contemporary sound, using the piano and electronics as a means of connecting Armenian musical references with an expanded, electronic sound world.
